FAMILY CONNECTIONS

BUILDING RESILIENCE TOGETHER

Family Connections is a 10-week counseling group is designed for families seeking to improve their emotional and relational well-being through proven DBT techniques. This group focuses on teaching essential skills to strengthen family bonds and navigate emotional challenges.

This group begins Thursday, Jan. 9 from 5-6:30 p.m. at The Project, 4101 John Deere Rd., Moline, IL, 61265.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Mindfulness Practices: Build awareness and connection within your family.

  • Emotion Regulation: Discover strategies to understand and manage emotions.

  • Distress Tolerance: Develop skills for handling crises and practicing radical acceptance.

  • Effective Communication: Enhance your family’s communication and relationship skills.

How to Join:

  • New clients can schedule an intake appointment by calling Salena at 309-581-2027 or email mentalhealth@tpqc.org

  • Current clients can let their clinician, provider, or case manager know and get the appropriate appointment scheduled to join.
